Sit back and wait...

25 covering letters and artist samples later.... It's very time consuming but I suppose it's gotta be done. Promoting your work by sending out mailers. I mean it’s easy if you just send out your samples without finding out who you should be addressing it to but it’s not so personal. I think the... Sign in to see full entry.

Do you think art therapy works?

Foward bend. Lunge. Downward facing dog. Plank pose. Recognise these moves? For all those not so familiar with yoga... these are the beginnings of Sun salutation. Yoga actually helps you to relax. In fact, relaxing is what I find extremely hard to do. I've been throwing myself into all my crafty... Sign in to see full entry.

Homeroots

Finally, I made it back. After a 12 hour flight, 2 aeroplane dinners and 4 movies, I am now safe and sound at my parent's home in Tylers Green, Buckinghamshire, UK. Well, there were a few mishaps – mainly with using the wrong type of adhesive, particularly when sticking fabric down. Some of it didn’t dry the way I wanted so you can still see the hard and shiny parts on one of... Sign in to see full entry.

Boy have I got some nice stuff...

It's amazing how much stuff you can accumulate in a short space of time. I mean in the 2 years that I have been in Hong Kong, I have been putting aside magazine clippings and pamphlets that I think look cool and someday I'm going to find a use for them! And yes I think I have finally found a winner!... Sign in to see full entry.

Recycling can be fun

I've been getting really really into my crafts lately. I am not sure about you but I often get ideas which come to me during my sleep especially in around 6 to 7 o'clock in the morning. It's a kind of half asleep, yet half awake kinda state. But the harder I try to irradicate the idea from my head... Sign in to see full entry.
