New Girl in Town

If you've noticed, each of my blogs carries a little weather girl in a box now. This is a freebie. You can have one, too. Go to www.weatherpixie.com and customize your person. You can then copy the html code and load it into the template for your blog. Have fun. Sign in to see full entry.

Writers with Flying Fingers Wanted!

Although this sounds like one of "those" ads, it's the real thing. If you have excellent writing skills (punctuation, grammar, and spelling), can type or key steadily and accurately at a fast rate (80 wpm or above), and want to work at home, either full-time or part-time, I have something that may... Keyboards and Fingers

It seems I've been sitting at keys forever, and, in fact, it has been about 46 years. It started with an Underwood manual typewriter, progressed through electric and electronic typewriters, electronic typesetting machines, and into computer keyboards. I've had some interesting jobs and have loved... Sign in to see full entry.

Raise!

Just when I thought I have been through every Internet addiction, I found a new one. It's poker. Not any old poker game you might find on your computer or even the Internet a couple of years ago. A little click here, a little click there . . .

In case you haven’t discovered these Internet charity donation sites, they have all been around for more than a year and are worthwhile. One click a day is what’s requested and allowed. I keep them in the links section of my home page so it’s easy to remember to click each day.... Sign in to see full entry.

If You've Got It, Flaunt (No, Sell) It!

Here, I offering a few tips for novice eBayer sellers, assuming you already have the basics of creating an ad. If you have bought anything on eBay, you have probably formed some preferences on how you like to see things handled. This is not the only way, but it’s my way. Shipping and Handling It is... Woo Hoo!

It worked! After much messing around with Ctrl-ALT-DEL, my computer finally ran the thorough ScanDisk. It found a ton of errors and problems and (hopefully) fixed them all. I know I should have run Defrag right away, but I'm going to do that when I sign off tonight and go to bed. Hoping this will... Sign in to see full entry.
