Thanks for the link.  It is as qwertyui said, it might be fun for about 20 seconds, then poof, huge problem.

It's so great to be able to tap into great minds here.  I really appreciate the help.

Wuaclt: The answer to your question.

Check out this link to get the full scoop on this background process for Windows XP. As I understand it the progam is part of the automatic update system and should not be deleted.

when you dabble
you learn, but sometimes the way you learn is painful, like losing a limb.

Yikes!
Thanks for the advice.  I'm so happy now that it didn't delete.  Best not to be a dabbler in computerworld, isn't it?  Thank you.

It's the part that
does the automatic updates on your computer, and is a piece of the operating system.

Deleting it might be fun to watch for about 20 seconds.

Hahaha
At least you've kept your sense of humor.  Bed sheet of a comment page! I love it!  I thought I saw one of your comments somewhere tonight, and it was normal size.  Guess that would be twin instead of California king, huh?  Thanks for reading, and good night.

Now you go on with your bad self. Congratulations. Now if I can get this bed sheet of a comment page I will be a happy camper. Good night Justsouno
