Catholic school from grade 2 through the M.A. and 14 years as a member of the Christian Brothers order (LaSalle Brothers) was enough to choke somebody to death on ritual, repetitive prayer like the rosary, the "office" (recital of psalms at certain hours) and the long litanies and creeds and so on....
