Safe in Mother's Arms when I was a child, I fell off the swing set, knocking all the wind from my lungs. I could not breathe. I ran all the way from the back yard Into my Mother’s arms, Still unable to breathe. She spoke calmly, Assuring me, Calming me, Until I could breathe again.
