Watch out for the green match heads. They don't go out as fast.
There's a subtle rhythm to the handling of fire. I just bought a box of book matches with green match heads. The red matches go dead-black a few seconds after you blow out the flame. The green matches hang onto their glowing ember for eight seconds or more. If you're in the habit of tossing semi-hot matches, watch out that the green ones don't jump up and " bite you in the ass."
