Chapter 17: The Beach

“Thanks for the ride Pat.” I said getting out of the car. “No problem. Have fun.” As she drove off I looked at the building before me. It was a piece of art in it’s own rite. The museum featured modern art collections of the twentieth century. There were a lot of splatter paintings that didn’t really make sense to me. I guess I could have sprung for a guided tour but hell that could buy me a meal on the plane. I sat on a bench in the middle of a gallery and stared at this one piece. The canvass...
