BEOWULF ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

Go see it! But be warned, do NOT take little kids, you'll thank me when they're not keeping you up with nightmares. I saw it in IMAX 3d, I totally recommend it, but if you're prone to motion sickness, just see it in a regular theater. That sort of stuff never makes me sick, and over an hour later, I... Just saw

The preview for Iron Man, it looks amazing, unlike several of the comic based movies of the last two years. It would seem they cut out the lame feel good kiddie crap and mad a movie for adults who love comics. And now I'm off to see Beowulf in IMAX, I'm so excited! Sign in to see full entry.

Project Runway Let Down

Was it me, or did it kinda suck? The people on it this year are ridiculous or sooooo boring and not ridiculous in the the weird Vincent way or that girl who always did the stupid rosettes. Just in a way that you want to smack them and go, come on, really? And they're all already pros, isn't it more... Sign in to see full entry.

Actor's Catch Phrases

I've been noticing during the last few years that actors are saying the same words or phrases in every movie they're in. Johnnie Depp says Savy, and I'm not just talking about the Pirates movies, Angelina uses absolutely and fabulous to distraction, and much as I loved American Gangster, if Denzel... Formulaic Movies AKA Dan in Real Life

Seriously, was it necessary to make another movie where a guy falls in love with his brother's, best friend, etc's, girl, then another girl comes into the picture, and then they end up switching women, and everything turns out all happy? Thanks Dan in Real Life for eating almost two hours of my... Sign in to see full entry.

Greatest Movie Endings

I'm sure most people automatically think of Casablanca and Gone With the Wind, but my choice has got to be Interview with the Vampire, when Sympathy for the Devil starts up and Lestat fixes his cuffs and laughs, man, that is a great ending. Not, that I don't love the other movies. Sign in to see full entry.

I'm All For Writers Makeing Their Fair Share...

But I really don't want my shows to be messed up! I already have to wait a year between Battlestar seasons, and this is supossed to be the last season, what if we don't get a finish because of the writer's strike? That, and the sad fact that talented people who thought they had finally made it in... Sign in to see full entry.

When Great Books Make Bad Movies

As promised, a little bit about where Queen of he Damned went so very wrong. I'll just start by saying that I've read all of Anne Rice's books, and loved most of them. For me Pandora was my favorite because I identified with her character more than any other, and I love just about anything to do... Sign in to see full entry.

Why I watch Shows I Don't Really Like

Because some really cool actors and characters show up on television in weird places. Take Katee Sackoff in Bionic Woman, don't worry, I don't like that show anymore than anyone else, but I watched it because she, and like every random guy from Battlestar was on it. I'll go ahead and say that... Sign in to see full entry.

Scifi Should

Totally bring back Farcape because how cool would a Farscape Battlestar Scifi Friday be? I know it will never happen, and that we are supposed to be happy with the ending they gave us, but I'll always want more. Or they could just throw Claudia and Ben on Battlestar like they did with Stargate. I... Sign in to see full entry.
