Some rain would be nice for your many plants. I hope it happens for you. Since we eat so many potatoes, I really should make a spot and plant some. My brother grew them in a container on his porch. Surprisingly, they did quite well. My condolences on the death of your neighbor.

It is overgrown in places. The officials are trying to clear what they can but it it is not enough. I worry and just now was thinking of asking our Hortid Homeowners Association to trim what it behind our house. They are worthless except to collect money and keep out halfway houses forvaddicts and perverts. 🙃

Lo Sam, The trouble is the Water Board owes millions and has not kept up with the obvious need of expansion, the water is free it comes from underground high in the hills I think there are a lot of leaks and of course as a lot of houses are not on a meter there is a hardly an incentive to worry about the fixed.cost🌺

Oh! dear, I am sorry to hear that, it is so exhausting to be over heated for so long
I hope there are not two many trees or shrubs near. I was visiting the cemetery it is
nearer as the crow flies . Over the years everything has grown so large It would be awful if
a fire broke out there. 🌺

Yes Ciel I did buy them through Amazon . It was a bit of a discern to think I paid 10 pounds for them postage 3 pounds and three pounds on the packet. One has to live and learn.🌺

My mother would have loved to have a small greenhouse. She was an avid gardener and raised flowers in the border around her vegetable plot. Grew enough to can and preserve some, and taught us kids how to tell weeds from veggies so we learned about all that whether we wanted to or not. Home grown tomatoes are the best! I think of her sometimes when I read about all you are doing - I hope you're having a very good day.

Your experience with the tst would have had the effect for me. Good luck with the potatoes. I hope you get the needed rain soon. It has yo be grueling watering every day!
