Oh dear! That definitely needs to be addressed even if you have to go through a clinic. Take care of yourself.

You will be missed and I do hope we see you blogging again in the new year with great news about your health!

Big hug

darling time to get this checked out. pain killers will only make the reflux worse and a vicious cycle is started. I have chronic reflux, probably self imposed because of poor eating habits all of my life. but I had an endoscopy the other year to ensure that nothing more sinister was going on. i don't feel happy when i add your symptoms together. much love, and pray we get you back soon.

Re: Re: shellyb

I wish I made over 48k a year!  lol    I just got home from work.  Going to explore the link you gave me below.  Thank You.  I hope you know how much I appreciate it.

Re: shellyb

It makes sense to take medicare away, but they should have offered you to switch over to a subsized plan.  There are subsidized plans (close to free) for those who make between 16k-48k per year.   If you make over that, then I still hope you enroll in insurance anyways.  At our age... it's borderline crazy not to have it.   At least call them and ask about your options.

Re: Taps

lol, I won't make you eat any words.   Mornings are the worst.  It takes me a while before I feel a little normal. The mornings that I work don't help either with being on my feet.   By lunch I hurt a lot.  Thank you for caring and your kind words.

Re: blackcat

It's okay.  I know you are trying to help.  Before my promotion I did have insurance.  Medicare.  After my promotion they took that away from me because I made too much money.  Work insurance is ridiculously high.  I don't have that anymore anyway.  I do my taxes online.  I did have insurance when I filed for 2016.

Agree with TAPS.   Listen to her.

also... who does your taxes?  You would have been charged a fee not to have health insurance... which wouldn't make sense if you qualify for a credit... they should have explained this to you.

Sorry to be practical when you're not feeling well... but hope it can alleviate at least one worry for you.  There is no better investment to make than to invest in your health.

Sweetie, this is not something that will go away if you just ignore it.  If you woke up feeling super and active this morning, I will eat my words.  Actually I would love to eat my words.

As everyone said, please get to a doctor.  I'm sure the fear is worse than the reality.

Also... and this is important...there is no reason for you not to have insurance.  Like it or not, this is what obamacare made was for... if you have low income (under 47k) it will practically be FREE.  There is no pre-existing condition clause and it's your lucky day because Open enrollment just began and is open until Dec 15th.

DO IT TODAY.  Find out the website or phone number for Ohio and you'll be enrolled in a plan within minutes.  https://www.healthcare.gov/

Then, when you goto the doctor, explain that your healthcare starts in January, and if possible, can you hold off on tests until then.  If not, maybe he can work a deal with you to submit to insurance post-dated.  Keep us posted.

I would see a doctor as much as I hate going myself. It appears the worry about the symptoms are making you feel much worse.

Please keep in contact some way.  When a person is sick, in need, having problems of any kind, that's when they need friends the most.  Quite a few of us are also on Facebook.   Some would be glad to keep in touch by email.  I'm so sorry that you are going through this.

Shelly

I am so sorry to hear of your health problems! I too am leaving Blogit, though for different reasons. And I certainly wish you the very best and hope you'll recover soon and completely!
