I want parents to know that no child is an accident but he or she is sent by God into your live as a blessing. Every parent is not an accident but God sends him or her into a child’s life as a blessing. Every child and every parent is designed and planned by God. Every parent and child is made “in the image and the likeness of God.” They are also “wonderfully and fearfully made” (Genesis 1:26-27 and Psalm 139:14). God in Jeremiah 29:11 says “I know the plans I have for you…” (Parents and Children are all included) “…. plans of good and not of evil to give you a future and a hope.” It is very interesting to note that this statement is made in the book of the Prophet Jeremiah. Many Bible Scholars consider him to be a prophet of doom. Here, one can see hope even in the midst of doom. Every child is a potential hope for tomorrow. God has a future and hope for him.
