I have given much thought to how I can become more physically fit.  I look at people in their 60's and 70's who can hardly walk. They are stooped over, plagued by arthritis.  They talk about medical procedures often.  The subject consumes them.  They are not enjoying life, and I don't want to end up that way.  I want to live the second half of my  life feeling good and being active.  I want to enjoy it and have fun with it.  To do this, I have to be healthy and fit.  Changing my diet and learning to enjoy exercising are the keys.  I have gathered some healthy recipes that I will try, but mostly I will pick food that will do something good for my body.  In other words, my food will be my medicine.  I have done this before, and I know that when you consistently eat this way, you get to a point where it becomes enjoyable and preferable.  Sweets become irrelevant and you don't crave them anymore.
