This malady was in no way connected to my lifestyle choices.  It is a rare birth defect that I had no knowledge of.  My belief is that my ability to heal so quickly was due to the fact that I have remained active and chosen to stay fit most of my life.  I am well on the road to recovery and ready to get back in the game.  My doctors are even amazed at my progress.  I have to admit, I had some really good doctors.  So, I am back to blogging and I hope to give something to my readers that will be beneficial, useful and interesting.  My Fit and Feisty blog comes from my original premise that you don't have to become old; physically, mentally, socially, spiritually or in any way.  You may get some wrinkles, but celebrate them.  You earned them.
