You're here now. Uninvited. Not welcome. But not leaving. So let's learn to live together - searching for more good days than bad. One day at a time.

the fine print: Fibromyalgia is a collection of symptoms that include pain, stiffness, and tenderness of the muscles, tendons, joints and other soft tissues. As a chronic condition, it results in a system that is exhausted and overloaded. The pain from fibromyalgia typically doesn't diminish with activity, and the pain is made worse by cold, damp weather, over exertion, anxiety, or stress.

And now, Fibromyalgia is a part of me. So - Hello, Fibro.

Yours always (regrettably),
A.

<sy:updateBase>2000-01-01T12:00+00:00</sy:updateBase><items><rdf:Seq><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/645006" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/644897" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/644621" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/644492" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/644194" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/643966" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/643889" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/643797" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/643329" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/_AC_/643166" /></rdf:Seq></items>

Jalapeno Pepper Home Remedy

Hello, Friday. There's still a sinus migraine throwing a party behind my eyes and nose. Searched for home remedies online - my favorite so far is: " For a sinus headache, eat a jalapeno pepper as soon as possible. Within minutes your sinuses will start to drain and the sinus headache will...

Life Lemons

Ouch. A winter storm is rolling in. I don't need to hear the perky weatherman to get the details because my sinus migraine is as accurate as a barometer. In a fibro fog today. Haven't showered. Looking in the mirror is scary. Who is that weirdo looking back at me? Who snatched my body and...

My Name is Fibromyalgia

*A friend forwarded this to me from her Facebook page. It is not gently written - rather emotionally charged. The emotions come from a legitimate place of worry, desperation and frustration. I need a hug (a gentle hug, of cour se.)* Hi. He didn't make me feel like I am crazy. He is doing blood tests to rule out any systemic problems. He prescribed some different meds. He is extremely smart. He dresses like Mr. Rogers. I like him. Now I wait. I am peacefully content to sit down and enjoy a microwave meal - no cooking, no dishes. Classical music. A few candles, a glass of vino and indulging in some 'Me' time. 'Me' time interrupted: Cat puked on cue as I was taking my first saucy bite of Stouffer's...

Unorganized Thoughts from Girl in Pajamas

Lost. Beneath my covers. Beneath the pillows. Not knowing where to start. Or even if I can. Foggy, hung over. One strong vodka martini on an empty stomach. Felt good at the time. Now - not so much. About four years ago I had a blog on here.
