Completely random, most of the time. Unrelated to anything that came before or comes after. Sometimes unrelated to anything. Perhaps so meaningless that an entry begs the question "BUT WHY?!" are you writing this? Or, in some cases, WHY did you write this? For however much I cringe, I do mean to dig out my teenage journals and include some parts of them. I have no shame and it is just as well.
