I dream of world peace - but think that to arrive there we first of all need to understand violence. The How's and the Why's.
I've been fascinated by violence over the years - I have been subject to much - such as being kidnapped, raped at gunpoint, raped other times/other places, victim to incest, victim to violent and non-violent sexual and domestic abuse. I may appear flippant to some - but I wanted to understand such matters - like how can they occur ?
So - I've been to support and growth groups, then worked in the prison system (I called it my Lion's Den) and studied sexual predators at post graduate level.

<sy:updateBase>2000-01-01T12:00+00:00</sy:updateBase><items><rdf:Seq><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/480251" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/473901" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/470696" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/465965" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/463332" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/451006" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/449813" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/449727" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/449498" /><rdf:li resource="https://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/ExplorationsOfTheDarkside/448684" /></rdf:Seq></items>

ANGER MANAGEMENT.

Over the years I have facilitated many anger management classes. One of the cornerstone techniques is 'time-out' when you're too hot to be rational. It is to be understood that time-out is not an escape. There needs to be an implicit agreement that issues will be aired within a cooler and more...

Prison humour.
