I bought my little home in 2006. The only live things that existed on my small lot were two old trees. My garden was started the summer of 2006 from nothing but sand and dead grass. Both my maternal and paternal grandmothers were gardners, as well as my late mother and quirky and artistic aunt. Somehow along the way I just started digging, planting and watering. I don't know how or why but my garden is thriving.
