The rim worlds in the distant arms of the galaxy, eager to govern themselves, learned the military secrets to light travel and armed themselves against the Centrags.  Shortly afterward, the Expo-Centrag war began.  This story is a trilogy.  The first book sets the stage on a long ignored planet with humans and non-humans struggling to survive against the odds.  The second book goes to the battles but more for survival of the human race than the expected confrontation with Centrag.
