My son (apparently thanks to genetics)was diagnosed with BipolarI a year ago. We are both on medication and far more emotionally stable than before. The other day a friend of a friend mentioned that Bipolar Disorder is 'all in the mind', which really upset me because I couldn't believe that someone could comment so strongly on something of which they obviously have very limited knowledge. Is there anyone out there who has been in a similar situation? How many people out there still really believe that it is 'all in the mind'?

<sy:updateBase>2000-01-01T12:00+00:00</sy:updateBase><items><rdf:Seq /></items>
</rdf:RDF>
