Sadly Pat living longer is bound to make more demands on health care. Many of the care workers here are foreign, I suppose they can get a permit if doing the work that others reject.🌺

It's a shame that everything comes down to the all-mighty dollar, but this is the world that we live in. This is why the property should be put into a trust so that the nursing home can't take the family house after they wipe out their bank account.

I find home help here so very expensive, we have just begun with someone coming in for 3 hours once a month. It is all we can afford.

Quite a problem. The poor folks in my family had to take care of one another or do without, and many hold on by the skin of their teeth. Sometimes the world's a bit sad.
