Re:

Thank you so much! I am still learning much to be a mom, and there are struggles but having the necessary support means the world to me. Thank you so much again!

Re: Thank you for sharing.

Thank you so much for the links! I am slowly learning through this, however I've had 20 years medical experience in one way or another when it comes to what she needs.  But trying to keep up and focusing on just one thing or another does have it's up and downs.  I can handle her meltdowns now, but in 8 years? That's where I see myself struggling.  Again, thank you so much!

Re: I too have a Mother's Day child.

That is so awesome! When people ask what I want for mother's day, I have already told them I have the best gift a mother could ever want. But I do accept a lunch out with them in consolation.  But while they are children, I am trying to make their days as big as possible.

Thank you for sharing.

I am friends with a published writer who has Asbergers. I am sure that you deal with many difficult days as well as some really memorable ones. Good luck to you. Moms are the hardest working people that I know. I found a few sites that offer sensory gifts for autism.

I too have a Mother's Day child.

I also have a St. Patrick's Day daughter. The rest of the family has all of the other holidays covered with their birthdays. Mother's Day gets confusing. We want to celebrate her birthday, but she is more insisting that it is Mother's Day. We compromised and have made it a really big day of celebration.
