Re: RE: Danielle-Stoneheart

Thank you! Danielle is a biblical reference to the prophet, Daniel and how he remained faithful even when he faced the den of lions. Stoneheart is from an acquaintance who after my accident claimed that I had a heart of stone when I finally stood up for myself.

RE: Danielle-Stoneheart

I had to look up your new name to see who you are.  I like the change.

This is a wonderful post with a lot of feeling generated through your words

Being in a military family can be hard at times, but it is truly something to be proud of. We too have covered all of the wars, and I have been both a Navy & Army wife due to my hubby serving in both branches. Iraq was one of the worst as far as recent wars go. I also thank you for your family's service.

Re:

I agree.  There is something about signing up for something and it's mandated that you leave on a moment's notice than just saying "I'll be back next week."  These heroes take on so much on their shoulders to make sure that not only their families are taken care of, but their country as well.

It's not easy serving, being away from your family.

Yes.  Veterans Day is a really good time to express our love and appreciation to Veterans that we know.  I have three grandsons who have served/are serving and I love them very much and am very proud of them.  It was a good day communicating with them and giving love via media.

So beautifully written

I must confess, the writing got straight to somewhere deep down in my heart.

Wish you a wonderful day, and all good thoughts I'll send to you.
