you guys....

I am now getting a bit emotional. I have only posted a few items on here but one was a bit political and others were about crazy life that could be easily judged as bad parenting. This is the safest place I have ever experienced on line. Thank all of you for your beautiful REAL hearts.

Welcome to Blogit. I think all these would be fine with me. But it is between you and each child. You know you have all these answers within yourself. Trust your judgement.

There is nothing wrong with wishing that they would donate to yours. Even if I do not utilize a business for example, I still want them to go to my dad's.

Athletics can be very tough on a person, so I understand that greatly.

When it comes ot the freedom that your son had when compared to your daughter, I think it makes sense given these times.

I am sure your six-year-old will one day understand it, so it is fine.

Being a parent is not easy. Follow your heart yet only spend what you can afford. As far as her fundraising....right now it doesn't matter...eventually she will understand and be glad she did it

that is typical of 5-6 yr old at school. What is in it for me is being a child and acting as to be expected. it is when we they get older that we should gfrow beyond this and by introducing the child when they are young, they become used to helping others.

i know it is rough on girls but I am an old Lady and I am glad now that my parents were protective of me. Girls /women never really recover from rape or violence against them.

My second Son carried puppy fat and gave up sport at school but he had music instead. A drum kit was good exercise and he loved it.
