My name is Incent. I work for the Canopean Planetary Services Bureau. If you want to know more about Canopus you will have to read Doris Lessing's Canopus in Argos series - a set of five books. You can google to find it. Mostly out of print these days.
Anyways, I am actually on sick leave - suffering from undulating rhetoric you see. Shhhh....blogging is actually off limits...but kya karoon (hindi - trans - what to do) a word/thought junkie needs a place to spill his guts.
Canopus, if u must know, is generally regarded to be in-charge of the Milky Way. Not exactly a guardian, they hate being called that - more like guides. Earth is one of their dearest projects which went askew. Dont ask me how, why, they haven't told me. Best I could wheedle out was that there was some sort of cosmic "accident".
Actually, I graduated quiet recently. My first assignment in the Volyen system was a total disaster. Shammat. I still can't figure out their angle. Why? Why? Why? The docs promise me if I am good and let myself heal they will recommend my next assignment here on earth in a future time zone. The era of faster than light travel. Playing with physical substance is a soooo fascinating especially when you are trying inter-stellar travel. I've always wanted to roam the universe. Awesome.
