The praise from my Sophomore English teacher was all it took. I'm hooked on writing. Sadly, until now (twenty years later), I've encountered subtle roadblocks to my pursuit of a creative outlet:
Minimum wage (overtime), military service, marriage and children (my second child was twins), divorce and single parenthood (more overtime), second marriage to Mr. Wonderful, college education late in life, and the pursuit of a new career.
Now I find leisure. My creative mind unwinds, percolation ensues, and out pours me. I love this.
