I'm a mid-30s male living in Sydney, Australia. In my life I've been dazzled by the complexities of an engineering degree, gone free-falling through the realms of spirituality, landed wearing the habit of a monk, pondered theology - philospophy - psychology - the back of breakfast cereal boxes, been inspired by Herman Hesse / Patrick White / Tim Winton / Leunig and innumerable others. I've turned into a runaway monk, wandered around slightly dazed, stared at the ocean, worked in tourism, payed bills, written the occasional article, dabled in poetry and been sun-burnt on numerous occasions. Writing a blog is my current subversive activity in the midst of a rather impoverished job in administration.
