My name is Rose Cooper, I am a Navy Veteran, single mother of a 24 year old son. 100% Service Connected with PTSD. I have been writing poetry off and on for 20 years, but pretty steady the past seven years. My poetry tells the story of my life and how I have dealt with depression and recovery. As well as being a survivor rather than a victim of domestic violence. I have published two books of poetry the first of which "Petals of Life"
no longer in print, and the second one "a rose in bloom" available through booksurge publishing or amazon.com. I also write poems for the bereaved, such as the poem, "My Sweet Child".
