I am a 38 yr old mother of three boys, who at the time I am writing this are 8,6 and 3. Some things I love are the first week of spring makes everything look bright and fresh and bringing with it the smell of fresh cut grass and flowers and there's nothing like the fresh, clean smell of moist dirt. I love the blend of colors on the horizon just before a storm. Nothing says summer like the smell of fireworks. I love watching a thunderstorm from inside the house and snow covering the ground. I love the smell of my children right after their bath. I love prayer. I love clothes right out of the dryer on a cold morning. I love a long, hot bath, a good read, crawling into clean, cool sheets and chocolate!
I don't like sitting through good movies with bad endings or being outside in the humidity. I don't like when the phone is for me ant the person who answered it asks who is calling. I get bored sunbathing. I understand that children whine, but adults should know better. I wish that stores would stop putting up their Christmas decorations in October. I absolutely hate spending money. Even if I spend it on something that is necessary, like food.
All fears can be handled with prayer. But if I let myself forget that, I am afraid of losing my children and never finding love.
Family is central to Heavenly Father's plan and contrary to my current marital status (divorced), I believe that the family is central to anyone's well being. I believe that families should be there for each other in all things and that unconditional love should be offered unquestioningly. There is no room for selfishness in a family unit unless safety is an issue. I believe that a promise is a promise and if I make one, I should make every effort possible to follow through on it. Trust and respect should also be given. Without a doubt, honesty with others is the biggest step toward gaining the trust and respect of others. I realize that my views may seem unrealistic, but I believe that it really is that simple.
