I know I’m in my 60’s . I was born in’45. Not that I’m forgetful, but every year I gotta do the math. Like to play improvised music, sometimes painting, and especially like to think about the nature of things. I’m drawn to the theme of “the congruity of incongruity“. I turned to poetry because I’m a failed prose writer---ok, so I got bored with elongated thoughts and wanted to surprise myself. Also like reading, relating to, editing, and critiquing poems, because I like doing something I’m good at.
