I aspire to write the truth - not what everyone says is the truth but...truth. I have found over the past few years that real truth can only be found through experience. Real faith in anything can only become a reality through everyday experiences.

In college during the 80's, I heard a professor challenge absolute truth. As a result I wrote this short poem.

Kyrie Eleison

O my country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty,

You wanted a land that was free.

What does free mean? Is it possible without rules?

Look at our children, are we raising fools?

The big question, "but?" has caused no absolutes.

To whom or to what to we give our salutes?
