I was born on the Caribbean island known as the 'land of steelband and calypso' but lived most of my life on the US mainland. I am a person of varied interests, especially having a love for travel, cooking, the arts, dressmaking, design, and wrtiing, particularly poetry. I have a compassion towards those who are injusticed by life's depressing circumstances, which often influences my need to encourage and counsel. Overall, I find joy in serving God, who inspires my creative passions and in my family, which consists of my husband to whom I've been marrired for almost 23 years and our only son, who continue to be great sources of encouragement.
