My name is Deborah Cox and I'm a family psychologist practicing in Springfield Missouri. My areas of specialization are women's relationships, eating disorder, and body image. I'm board certified in Couple & Family Psychology and I provide trauma recovery therapy for adults. Writing is a love of mine - so I'm always looking for venues in which to write about issues of concern to me and my clients. Especially in this part of the world, people still sometimes think counseling and therapy are for the crazy or seriously disturbed. So, I hope to make a difference in that commonly-held view by writing about somes of the "normal" problems we all face.
