Oh boy, a little bit about me is more complicated than it sounds! I am one of those people who loves to learn new things and therefore has way too many half-a** hobbies and about a millon interests. First and foremost, I'm a reader and a writer. I've loved to read since I was old enough to hold the book up, and thanks to my wonderful mother reading to me I learned to read by watching her. I collect books and I love them so much that I've decide to eventually have 42 of them tattooed on me - most in inconspicuous spots. So far I have 9 of them down in ink on me. I started writing for attempted publication at age 12 and I had my first publication at age 16 after a few hundred rejections. Now I'm forty and I've got quite a few more publications and a whole lot more rejects, and I'm just getting started!! I love lots of other things too. Horses, cats, dogs (and most other animals but those are some of my faves,) pickup trucks, old sappy ballads and classic rock, violins, guitars, trumpets, hand drums, weird people, emeralds, gold jewelry that isn't too foo-foo, old coins, shiny things in general, bears, hiking gear and camping gear as long as I don't have to use it for TOO long, mountain bikes, orange soda, butter-cream frosting, studying comparative religions and especially eastern religions, the wonderful Ma Saraswati who is the Hindu goddess of books, learning, wisdom, and art; and finally but not at all least- my beloved who I want to be with always.
