I want to give you alittle background about myself... I am a 33 year old single mom. I have recently relocated to Arkansas from California. I have been an alcoholic since about the age of 17 and a meth addict from the age of 19. I had many different drug addictions through out the past 14 years. I have been in and out of 4 treatment (rehab) centers and in and out of jail on a number of occasions due to my drug addiction. I have lived the life of many. I am now in recovery and have been clean and sober since January 17, 2007. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. My life has completely changed. I just want to be able to share some of my writings with someone else who may be able to relate and just needs a glimpse of hope that things can turn around. I should have been dead, if not by the many suicide attempts then by the drug and alcohol abuse, but I truly believe that God does have a plan for me and if I can give hope to just one person who is in that pit of Hell through drug or alcohol addiction then Sharing my most imtimate thoughts and feelings are worth it!
