I grew up in the '60's and am a die hard hippie flower child. Love the music and clothes of the era and actually lived in Haight Ashbury at the time as a runaway along with the 100's of others. It was a wonderful time. And as we have seen every era seems to come back around and within the last couple of years, you may have noticed that hippie jewelry and clothes are back in style, so you know I went crazy.
I am a recovering alcoholic, drank for close to 30 years day in and day out, but somehow managed to still look good at my now 54 years. I am letting my beautiful naturally curly locks grow back out nice and long, hippie style and have the wire rimmed glasses (which need to be changed cuz I can't see thru these worth a damn).
I have married for 11 years this year this time around and when we first got married, we separated within the first couple of months. That is when I was diagnosed with serious depression and discovered Prozac, the miracle drug. I was on it for about 10 years and then had what is called Prozac poop out (it just does not do it's job anymore) and was then diagnosed with Bipolar II disorder, which has now taken me out of work for the second time (I wish I could find a way for it to take me out of Corporate America for good). My father recently passed away and work was stressful and I went off the deep end.
But it was during this time, that I rediscovered my dream of wanting to write. I could sit in front of the computer for hours and type. I have started a children's book, but have a long way's to go.
I am a very opinionated bitch, love a good go round of debate, don't really need a man for much of anything and am not looking forward to going back to work. I will add more as needed.
