The world I entered was full of abuse and deprivation. That formed a 'pattern' for my future and as I developed and grew older-I made my own rules-became powerfull in my weaknesses! Omnipotent really. There came an urgent need for me to 'go into' therapy and after several years-I 'found' the real 'ME' !(Quite frightening actually because I could see the dysfunctional way I used to behave and how that had affected my nearest and dearest. However-even at 58-what I was learning and the changes I was making-had a knock-on effect on those people whom I love.A GOOD effect-I am happy to say! So now-at 65-I have found this particular site and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!I also enjoy my 4 son's lives and my six Grandchildren--at last I feel 'old enough'-or-adult enough to accept that I do have grand children and that my own offspring-are healthy and independant. NOW-perhaps for the first time in my life-I recognise 'happiness'! What a wonderfull experience-and-I can tolerate 'sadness'! I have grown up!
