Ok. A little bit about me. Hmmm. What do I say?

Well, first of all I am a professional writer but because I don't own a newspaper or a magazine, I can't write exactly the way I want to, so I write for fun. I have an opinion/reaction to just about everything (which I have to se aside in order to do my day job) so expect to get alot of what I can't express during the day here. Sometimes, I'll even vent about emailed reactions I get to stories that I write for my job. As needed, I will back up theories with stats or references to published reports, so you know I'm not pulling things out of thin air.

Also, I should warn you. I will write about a ton of different things so there's really no theme to my blog. It's LoisLane's Metropolis, which means: the world and how I see it. I encourage you to challenge my perspective because I want to stimulate debate. How else will we become enlightened thinkers and I become a better writer if we are never challenged? General topics include: career, current events, love/relationships/dating, family, travel, politics - you get the idea.

Nothing is taboo.

Welcome to LoisLane's Metropolis.
