I'm a passionate introvert who makes my living by writing and selling magazine articles, mostly about fishing, nature, the environment, and travel. I'm also a photographer and love the creativity that it affords and how it has helped me better "see" the world. I've sold short stories, as well as nonfiction and essays. I have written two, as yet unpublished, novels, with wolves among the main characters. I appreciate cities for what they offer, but prefer to live in the country, where I can breathe. I share my home on a small lake with Ursa the Devil Dog. In recent years, I've had "past life" experiences that are drawing me more and more toward a belief in reincarnation.
