I am 60 and live in Italy between Milan and Rome. My name is Franco and I am busy on writing or creative writing as we usually say nowadays.
My concern is on any side of writing: poetry, prose, narrations and literary criticism. I am the director of a literary magazine entitled Il cavallo di Cavalcanti (Cavalcanti's horse) and write for other magazine (LA mosca di Milano, LA clessidra, Costruzioni psicanalitiche):
My favourite poets are many, but to remain in the anglo-american context I would say Stevens, first of all; then Eliot, Marianne Moore, Auden. Going back in time Blake and Donne.
The Italian poets and novelistsI like most in Italian '900 are may be not much wellknown abroad with the exception of Pier Paolo Pasolini, probably. Anyway my preferences go to Campana, Gozzano, Clemente Rebora, Camillo Sbarbaro, Pavese, Bellintani, Campo, D'Arrigo, Fenoglio Pasolini and Montale.
I like movies but unofrtunately i go to the cinema less than I would like!
I like seaside, travelling (Glancing through is the title of a novel I published in 2005), good-cooking, wine, football and many other things.
