My name is John Scott Joeright.
How Ellis Island officials got that name from Guerritsa in the late 19th century, I will probably never know.
I am an unemployed lobbying law researcher, reporter, legislative aide, university fund raiser, academic program coordinator, adventure sailing charter captain/owner, hardware department manager, and house painter with a masters in public administration. All but the first occupation were conducted in Alaska. Prior to sailing there from North Carolina, I painted exclusive 5,000 square foot vacation cottages on the private islands of the Carolina coast.
I grew up in mid middle class rural Ohio and being practically everywhere else out of curiosity, I learned that my true happiness lies in a nomadic life style that allows me to soak in the unfamiliar, touch the new, and see everything at least once before I die.
I love to read, imagine, explore, and travel. I love sports, fast cars and quiet bucollick scenes without insects. I have a weak spot for animals of all sorts, and enjoy the company of the elderly as much as a fun lovin crowd around a pool table listening to blues guitar and sax.
History and women occupy my interests and though I was raised on church I have now seen too much of everything, including evil to articulate my beliefs in words but I am not an atheist.
Most of all, I value living and belive mankind should spend as much time or more in liesure than at work in order to enjoy friends and loved ones as well as to discover the sensations of our current environment to the fullest.
If I say anymore no one will ant to read me!
