Hi, I'm Mischelle.
I am a 41 year old mother of two great teenage boys and wife of 23 years. I live in rural Iowa with 3 dogs, 6 cats, and a lizzard.
We own a family business and I also work full time. It is while at work that my thoughts and ideas seem to flourish as my job" style="BORDER-BOTTOM: green solid; TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://search.targetwords.com/u.search?x=5977|1||||job|AA1VDw">job is not very exciting and can go for long stretches of time with little to do. Thus the blogs.
I am going through a very strange time in my life as many women my age can attest to. No longer do I need to impress anyone, catch a man, wow a client or suck-up to the inlaws. I am becoming free to be me again.
Several recent events in my life have helped to accelarate this process. My mother's death this year has opened up new feelings that I am being forced to address. My financial situation has forced me to take an ugly look at myself. And my growing boys have forced me to accept some things that I though I had conrol over.
I love to garden and landscape. My perfect world would include five acres of private gardens that folks would oooh and awe over after I'm gone.
I love to research family history and have found a new pride in what was for a long time, a family of questionable integrity.
I love to write. I think words are probably the most powerful substance that God ever gave humans and find that they do more to shape our world than any other one entity known to man.
