I wanna be a writer! I wanna!
I need to learn to write more like King or Tad Williams but I naturally find I'm more like Straub and Sherri Tepper. NOT bad people to write like, but still I'd like to gain the pure, straightforward storytelling techniques of the formers. Oh, and I'm sorely lacking in honest wit, so I need to read more Twain, too. I'm using this blog as a total testing zone for new ideas and techniques and I'm just gonna grow until I'm good enough to write that novel [any one of the two dozen] in my head.
