I am a 30 year old single mother living in Washington State. My single motherhood began when I was 16 years old.
I have never been married, and this is because no one has ever asked me. I am not currently in a relationship, although I do enter into them on occasion. My son is 13 and is one of the kindest people I know.
I am the youngest child in a family of highly intelligent and occasionally eccentric individuals. I love classic literature. I enjoy good poetry, particularly light verse. I can be uncomfortable around strangers, but can be hard to shut-up around my friends. I am always smart, occasionally brilliant, sometimes narcissistic and usually pretty. I have an odd sense of humor.
I am a Christian. This does not mean that I am a fanatic who considers everyone else low and worthless. It simply means that I have met the man who is the Son of God, and his name is Jesus. He is my best friend, my teacher, my husband, my guide in all things. He is the first person I confess to and the last person I say goodnight to. I am His student and His fan. He has a full time job with me, but He is never bitter about this.
