I was born a country girl in 1952. Had I stayed in the country and lived my life differently, I would not be the person I am today. Instead of complaining about my life, I choose to celebrate it. I am healthy and alive today because I came through the storms of my life that embraced me, and I am back in the country (in Oregon) where I belong.
Through all my trials, tribulations and test, I have learned how to take responsibility, understand, ask for forgiveness, forgive and love everyone. I am living life without a male partner but I am not alone. The Lord is my sheppard and I shall not want.
My poetry is a gift from the Lord, and I want to share it now with as many as I can. I am writing a book about my life and many more poems are in that book. I hope to be able to publish it sometime in the near future. I have also created all the art work in my book and am very proud of the completed work.
