I am 61 years old,  have two beautiful and intelligent sons and 5 gorgeous grandchildren, all beautiful and intelligent as well (of course),  born into a military family during  the most interesting times of our lives (between 1946 and 1964 when my father retired), raised all over the world, had 3 brothers.  Am the sole survivor of my family, two brothers died around 1990 and the last brother and parents all passed away around 2004 (took care of my mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimers), and i was the eldest (just and interesting bit of tidbit there).   I have always been on the outside looking in which has given me some very interesting perspectives of life and myself.  Because of the way i was raised i find close attachments difficult to attain,  much less hold onto.  I find myself being detached from people and really not wanting to be, but rather than complain or whine about it i try to analyze it and write my poetry based on what i perceive.   I try and  share my words with whoever will read  them and  give of myself as best as i can,  leave a little of who i am to prosperity and  hope  my words have  some value to share.  i have published two books of poetry, one about alzheimers called "When there Are Dragons There Is Alzheimers" and "Through The Maze Of Life"  which is about life in general and depression. They both can be viewed on Amazon.com.
