Description

Battling Cerebral Palsy and confined to a wheelchair, Max Mullins began writing poetry as a means of sorting out and expressing his complex feelings. The best of those poems are presented in Beauty Of Brutality, which explores a range of emotions frustration and anger to a heightened sense of compassion and sympathy.

YOU’LL ALWAYS BE MY BEST FRIEND
In Memory of William Ross
February 1976~April 1988
I just got the sad news Why was it you I had to lose
You stuck with me through thick and thin
Now I’ll never see you again
Why did you have to go
You’ll never know how much I miss you so
You lived your life day by day then it was taken away
We always had fun together I wish it could’ve lasted forever
I thought of you like a brother you were a friend like no other
I never wanted it to end
You’ll always be my best friend
Now as I come to a cease may you rest in peace
