Description
I traveled to Antigua last year. I have not been there for over 30 years. When I landed V>V Bird Airport. The smell took me back to when I was a child. The heat just hit you in the face. an instant tan was to be had. That was not case for me as I am black from little Antigua. During the months I spent in Antigua, I have been to a number of the 365 beaches. This one in particular, called Jabowock. Along the beach there are numerous sea-side grape trees. These grapes are deep purple in color, they are the size of a marble. I am not very tall only ft 3ins. I decided to climb the tree. As I was climbing up I could feel some aches in m y legs, but I agnored it. The only thing on my mind at that point was to eat the grapes. I gathered a few only 3, pushed them all into my mouth. I nearly died with the taste. It took me back 30 years, I instantly felt like a child again. These grapes are the sweetest I have ever tasted. I picked more and ate them. I spent about 20 minutes eating these grapes, not thinking about the pain in my legs. I didn't care. I just wanted the grapes. I wish I could show you these grapes, just looking at them you could taste how sweet they are. I will be going back to Antigua very soon and you know where I will be heading down to the sandy beach at Jabawock to eat the sweetest sea-side grapes in the whole of the caribbean
