In a Christian society such as ours, the commandments appear to have lost all meaning. We feel we can do without them to make good rules of conduct for ourselves. But do our laws bring along a peaceful or just society or do they promote anarchy instead?
Man's laws are not permanent. They vary with the times and often change. But this change may create more confusion among the subjects those laws apply to. Can anyone really find a sense of balance when something they once believed in is repealed? The wishy-washy nature of man's laws may govern for a time, but they are often broken and lead to a society of confusion.
