Positive emotions such as happiness and contentment come easy. We don't have to concentrate on their improvement. It's the negative emotions of anger, jealousy, and hatred that requires more attention. Not many people know how to control those emotions.
Anger is not necessarily bad. It's how it is put to use in our lives. We consider it as a negative emotion, something to be avoided. However, anger can be constructive. There's no injustice in reacting to a threat. Anger fires up the adrenaline and gives us the power to rectify a situation before it gets out of control. The right kind of anger can spur us into taking action. Wars of justice and equality have been fought against the forces of aggression.
