This is very strong. Reminds me of when I took my own mum into the Chapel of Rest to see her dead partner. She kissed him goodbye and felt that same burn. Alabaster is a good word too: peaceful, regal, pure, untouchable. Regards. Dave.

THANKS, it's been many years now but I still miss her so.  You would have loved her.

Great lady.  Funny, zany.  Always doing something like Lucille Ball.  Sort of accident prone.

Like the time she broke both wrists, we couldn;t help but laugh at her.  She also got cactus stuck.....

Well, I could go on and on..............I wrote quite a few grief poems.....helps the healing.

I don;t really think I will ever get over losing her.  I'm sure you understand.  It is a huge hole in

my universe that cannot be filled.  Ever.  But life does go on...........She just was the kind of person

who seemed ageless, timeless, how in the hell could she die on me and with no warning??????????

Unthinkable.  I nearly lost my mind after she died.  I am so thankful now though because I never had

to see her get old, sick or anything like that.  She went like she wanted to, on a "perfume scented cloud."

I guess I am a lot like her which is pretty cool.
